Blackberry bold 9700 faulty +

Bold 9700 in white Phone has a broken screen as somehow i broke it in my pocket? Just had a whole new facia and battery, can see the phone is on as when i press the buttons the keypad lights up (although the edges seem to be a bit dim) i have connected this to my pc and deleted all my data off the phone with no problems. These phones are going for £110+ on ebay when fully working and a screen is only £10 , would fit it myself but dont have the tools or time (and i dont dare! ) Im not sure if the phone is unlocked as i only used it for a short time on orange and it seemed to work fine!
